Terms of Service

By downloading or using the peNV application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use peNV. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use peNV to:

• Post or transmit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Share spam, advertisements, or unsolicited commercial messages
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful software
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Share content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative manner

3. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post in peNV. By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the service. We do not claim ownership of your messages or profile information.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We are not liable for any user-generated content.

4. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Users may report inappropriate content or behaviour directly within the app.

5. Privacy

Your use of peNV is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Intellectual Property

The peNV name, logo, and all related marks, designs, and software are the intellectual property of CCDumitru. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

peNV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not responsible for interactions between users, including any harm resulting from meeting other users in person. Exercise your own judgement and caution when communicating with strangers online.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CCDumitru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using peNV at any time and delete your account from the app Settings screen. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
